Hi,
Acquired the 44 B in decent original condition with a 10 round mag. The original Lyman peep sight is in place and it appears to be able to take interchangeable sight inserts? The nearby Mossberg plant now apparently produces only 10% of the total output of the corporation. Production is centered at the Maverick facility on the border . Also are ther Mossberg instructions for the peep sight?

Thanks,
Subvet

The 44B was made 1938-41 so hard to find parts. Havlins are your best bet. If you have a 10 shot mag it will be an after market one as they came with it is a 7 rounder. Also they originally had a Mossberg #4 peep. A 4A adjustable aperture is a nice touch on the #4 peep. If you have a Lyman peep it is not original. There may be some instructions on the Mossberg thread at RimfireCentral.com. Mossberg also made a 44US which was a training rifle, I have a 44US(b) as well as a 44B.
