1st post. I found this site while surfing (again) for a sling to strap on the Mod 94. Should have paid attention years ago when bayo's and slings could be found @ gunshows. I have not seen this many 94's since I was a kid. Also very nice other stuff here. So here is a few pics of my old Swede. CG 1915 matching numbers, no import marks. Was missing the screw on the bayo mount in front of the rear lug when I got it. I have found a couple of CG M45 slings that was told would work on the M94. Have yet to fit one. Also noticed the bayonets at Liberty Tree without grips. Has anyone bought one and tried to fit grips? Does it attach to lugs or are other parts needed to make it work? Thanks in advance for advice.

Welcome to the forum . Nice looking carbine . The M45 slings are about 65" , so you can trim it to suite yourself or cut to 48" to 52" like the original . They have about 50 holes versus 25 for the M94 sling . M94 slings are RARE in the USA & sell in the $100+ range if & when you find one . I have a screw for the bayonet lug if you need one ( $5 delivered ) . I do not see the bayonets you refer to at Liberty Tree Collectors . If you are good at wood working , you could probably make grips for the M1914 bayonet . I would want a milling machine to get the square corners . If the metal catch & spring are missing , it will not stay on the carbine . That would be hard to replace .

I found the bayonet blades, right: no scales (grips). https://www.libertytreecollectors.com/productcart/pc/viewPrd.asp?idproduct=899&idcategory=10

$ 50.00. No scabbard, etc. Would not be hard to make grips, IMO. I'll order one for my first m94 and make up some. Table saw, router, drill press ought to do it, some filing and sanding. Outside radius on that rear part of grip might be a challenge, maybe a jig and pin on the router? With any luck, a quarter round bit can approximate, then file to fit?

Says "lock button in place" does that mean the button, spring and catch, or just "button." Maybe call first.

The scabbard lock is what is missing. I have 2 of these blades.
AIM had them a while back for less money.

As long as you do not want a scabbard , no problem . I do not recall ever seeing a M1914 scabbard for sale or auction by itself .
