I have a friend who is looking at one - At an Auction. He asked me what a reasonable price would be for it.

I don't know. Can someone offer a good opinion?

Thanks,

Hard to say without photos but a truly "mint" all matching rifle would go for over $400 IMO.

I paid almost $800 for a mint, unfired example just under a year ago. Still had cosmo in bore and nooks and crannies. The prices keep going up, with most still considering them a value as they are truly antiques and typically found in excellent condition. Beautiful Mausers, well made and great shooters.

I sold a mint matching one on the trader about a year ago for $600. Even had a matching #ed site/muzzle cover. it was a really nice rifle.
