I just picked up 9X18 miltex se satin nickle or chrome except on slide faces where it is bright high polished. I read these pistols came in around 98 and sold for $250.00 and up depending on options. What I want to know is back then how much could you really get one for. How many were made with this finish.This pistol has been on GB off and on for a while and the price was $500.00, but I did some trading and everybodys happy. This mak is just so nice to look at. It did not come with the other numbered mag,flat grips, or box, but was able to find a long finger rest mag like the one with it. the mag is numbered -1, but does not match the numbers on my -2 mag. I am glad I got it before anything else got missing or swapped out. Looks unfired.

Welcome if you do a search here there are several threads i got mine all Chrome from Miltex back in the day for $169. There is no info of how many of different type were produced as far as i know.
Mine came in black case,2 mags,manual holster,rod and tool, always hated the ugly black wrap around grip!

Having never encountered a Simson-Suhl, in my opinion, the Miltex SE has the nicest finish of all the Makarovs (I own two of them in blued finish).

Thanks vz58kid and yes Teakwood that is what drew me to it. I was thinking how much it would cost to do a Mak like that and then added --if you could find a shop that would do that good of a job. The owner of the shop said that the finish was done over there, not by the importer over here. Either way it is nice.

i have a satin nickle miltex in 100% finish with original box and matching magazines. I would trade it for a good condition simson-suhl anyday of the week if anyone offered me
