I'm fairly new here as well. Whatever happened to the old adages "If you don't have something nice to say, just keep quiet." and "Two wrongs don't make a right."

I have very limited military experience (track vehicle mechanic in a NG unit over 20 years ago) and no LEO experience but even a numbnut civvie like me trips up and says something useful from time to time. For the rest of the time, I hope ppl will be kind and civil enough to chuckle silently at my ignorance, or better yet, help me out by polietly pointing out where I went wrong.

I really wonder if there is someone reading these posts that knows everything there is to know about every possible subject that might be covered and hence can afford to offend someone into not expressing their opinions?

I don't always agree with everything posted on any board, but if I have to read through 9 bad posts to get to one where I learn something, that's ok.

Remember, even a blind mouse gets a piece of cheese sometimes.

I'd like to see where I insulted the military or an individual because he or she served.

Just out of curiosity, are any of the "anti-MB" posters going to point out some instances of his anti-military service insults? This quote came from a post YESTERDAY and nobody has jumped on it yet.

This would seal the deal for me if you can. I may not always agree with what our military does, but I ALWAYS respect those brave men and women who are out there following orders and doing their job.

If MB and GC are in fact what's claimed why not just iggy them and be done with it. It would seem (to me at least) that taking the time to respond to them is more wasteful than productive. One of my personal "Rules to Live By" is to ALWAYS do my best to ignore ignorance.

MB .. GC ... after the number of posts the two of you have on the boards just to get this kind of response from the others, right or not you only have yourself to blame for the treatment you get. Another of my "Rules" is that I never hang around someplace I'm not wanted. I find it hard to believe that there aren't other boards out there that support your political views.

Now, if all of you go through all of this just for fun, cause you have nothing better to do with your time than argue back and forth with ppl that you don't like very much, well then that's different and I'll just step back and let you have at it ... if you'll pardon me for not hanging around to watch (read) it.
