This is one I found about 30 years ago. There is a SN on the bolt. I have not ever taken it apart. This is the first of 2 that I have and there seem to be differences if the bands are painted or plain parkerised. The knurling on the bayonets is different too. I bought this at a show from a collector friend I knew. It was 200.00 which was about double of what the Import '36s were going for. Duncan's book is the first Published literature in English that mentions these Unmarked MAS-36 Rifles. I also think his new book is excellent and have enjoyed reading it.
