Hi guys,
This turned up at a local hockshop. It's an 1878 MkII complete with sling , bayonet with scabbard & brass muzzle cover. The stock is solid with no cracks and the bore is in very nice shape. No blue left just "patina". The only Sanskrit markings are on the sling and the butt. Under the left side of the sight are the letters NNESP. Can anyone decipher this? Price was six bills out the door. A good deal?
