Tony - your note got me to look at my Mars Cetme, which is a lower number S-02119*. When I bought it, about 30 years ago, I was not sure if the asterisk meant something in the way of the model number. The rifle I have has a collapsible stock on it that has been coated with a black rubberized compound, and I thought the * might mean "collapsible stock". Unfortunately I do not have picture capability.

Jim,

The information that I have is as follows:

B-19558*
B-19561*

- prototypes submitted for then-ATF approval/marked "CETME Sport"

B-XXXXX*

- factory cutaway

C-35.030*

- prototype submitted for then-ATF approval/marked "CETME Sport"

S-02102*

- lowest S-Series production number

What are the SN's of the first 5 that you are referring to (proto's/production?)?

Tony
