Hi,
I just noticed that the trigger on my Marlin seems loose.
It gets some tension to it when I cock the rifle or put the safety on.
It seems to pull just fine but I had not noticed the trigger being loose before.
Does anyone have a Marlin that could tell me about the trigger on this rifle ?
I have not fired this rifle.
I got it in a trade several years ago.
I was thinking about taking it out to the range this week.
The manual does not say anything about trigger adjustments.
Thanks,
Parmour

Marlin 336 w trigger

I read on aother site that the Marlin trigger is made to be loose. It will move forward, etc.
This is a "feature" of some type I have been told.
The manual does not mention this as a feature.
Thanks,
Parmour

The Marlin 336 sear has a piano wire coiled spring. The trigger free floats inside it. It is simple to take down to check. Hope this helps. chester.
