I just picked up 2 boxes from a (somewhat) local gunshop, 19.95 per box of 50. Also available at $349/ 1000sd case. Anyone know anything about it? Code BQ0708 L-10 on box end. No info on MAGTECH website, when I called, "John" was out sick and "he's the one I need to talk to" per customer service. I was looking for muzzle energy and velocity. Anybody tested it?
Thanks
Eric

Looking at Midway's catalog and website for 9 mm 124 gr Magtech, all bullet types were either 1096 fps or 1109 fps, 331 ft-lbs for the latter. The Guardian Gold 124 gr jhp was listed in boxes of 20.

The only FD I found there was "First Defense" solid copper hp bullet, 92.6 gr at 1330 fps and 364 ft-lbs, in boxes of 20. Also a +P version of the same bullet at 1411 fps and 409 ft-lbs.

So, not sure what you've got there, but it's probably close to the velocity and energy of the other 124 gr Magtech loads.
