I have a Sterling 25ACP magazine that has a broken footplate. Darn thing is plastic and Superglue does not hold. The body of the mag is steel as is the tab at the bottom that one slides off to disassemble the mag if needing to. What super duper adhesive is available to fix this?

Try 3m contact cement. Put some on each part, and allow to tack up. Touch the two parts together, and dont move them.Allow to dry for a day before use.

Not contact cement - it's just too weak. Works on plastic laminates only because of the very large surface it covers and needs a rough surface to stick to even there.

There are epoxys, super glues and polyurethane glues made specifically for plastics. See if you can figure out what kind of plastic it is, go to a Home depot and/or Lowes, and see what they've got. But the glue may cost a good percentage of a new magazine!
