Anyone know the max working pressure of the M95 or th original design pressure of the 8X56r?

Thank you. Wanted to know as I picked up a Frankensteined one that is currently sporting a Tikka M91 barrel & thought it could handle the pressure of the Russian round but wanted to be sure. BTW the 7,62 Russian fits & feeds from the clip with no problems

CIP sets both cartridges at 3550 piezo bar.

According to Josef Mötz ("Österreichische Militärpatronen") the max pressure is 3,000 atm (44,088 psi) The pressure test cartridges develop 4,000 atm (58,784 psi).

It should, cause that's what people can use to make 8x56R or 8x50R rounds if they want to use cheaper boxer brass than the specified.
