Chef,

If the receiver matches, good non-counter bored barrel, two to two fifty. Rod is worth fifty and the bands also. Nice piece that appears to be shellaced, that would be the right finish. Also good to have the hangers.

I agree on the cleaning rod and bands both being worth $50 each, but I honestly wouldn't pay more than $150 for a refinished rifle. I have had a lot of M-91s and none of them have been shellaced, so I'm not sure how that can be the right finish??? I'm confused.

It looks like it includes a bayonet but it is a 91-30 with the spring loaded button, not a true M-91 bayo.

Last show just a good basic "Baltic" stock in average condition sold immeadiatly for an astounding $150!! No bands or handguard either. Seen em go higher on fleabay. Think shipping and general availabilty is driving costs up. Times have certainly changed

Brian you are correct on Bayo.

Shellacked stock is correct. On the other hand, mine are not as shiny as the one listed above.

I have an unaltered 1894 M91 with original shellacked stock plus most of the later ones are shellacked. I have 22 M91s.
