Was asked by a friend to look at a Locking ring M1891 bayonet that he had gotten. The bayonet appeared all original with even patina, but it was odd.
At the area where armory marks were usually put was what appeared to be an ishevsk arsenal triangle with arrow. I was at a loss as these I thought were not in production in 1928- So when did locking ring bayonets stop in their production? Could it have been a late dragoon bayonet?
