Been looking for a decent shooter 6.5 M38 for awhile locally they ( un sporterized ones ) are pretty uncommon, owned and seen many 7.35 Finn ones.

AP prefix 1940 Terni, no import marks, orig sling with splice repair. Stock doesn't match, it's a struck out 7.35 with a high XA 9594 FNA M38 serial # higher than what is listed in the Green Carcano book ( based on observed ) serial table.
Bore is really strong and it shot ok but has a dinged crown that I'll clean up which should make it beter.

Long as the bore is good it should shoot alright. What ammo did you use? If it was Prvi, the 123gr is WAAAAYYYY better than the 139gr rubbish. Anyhow, the rifle looks nice and I hope you're enjoying it. I can't get enough of these things and now have about 7 or 8 of them. Each one is unique so what works in one may not work in another. We look forward to progress reports.
