I've searched the web, but have yet to find a good youtube tutorial on this. I understand the sight is removed from left to right(toward charging handle side), but I dont see a pin to punch out. What is the best way to do this?

On the rear sight, from what I remember there is no pin. the sight was staked in place. Something on the order of 2000lbs or something like that. my carbine came from korea (blue sky) with huge divots on either side of the sight. Be careful when driving the sight out. The staking can weaken the dovetail and break out when attempting to drive the sight out. Hope this helps. Frank

03man, I agree, it's hard to put youtube in your pocket; even with the right phone it's still small screen, and who's to say that somebody that posts a vid on youtube knows what he or she is doing? The TMs aren't hearsay or simply good advice, they have the correct answers and techniques, period. People will spend 600 bucks or more on a rifle and then won't spend a couple bucks on the right manual when they have an issue; oh well, experience is a good teacher, although it usually gives the test first and the lesson afterwards
