This is indeed the M.90 cavalry carbine. I sent you a PM, please, let me know if you haven't received it.

Actually, the cavalry carbine was the most widely produced at around 60,000 and is the most commonly encountered weapon. The next comes the repetierstutzen and the gendarmerie-karabiner is the rarest.

The bolt on this cavalry carbine is not original, it is from M.95 - note the oval back, not the round one. Only the cocking piece is the old style.

Definitely regionally skewed distribution! Over here the cavalry carbines are the only ones I see. That's why I was so happy when a nice forum member traded me a gendarmerie-karabiner :) :p
