What year did Izhevsk M38 carbines transition from the second pattern M38 stock with screw in sling slots to M38 stocks with half liner sling slots?
Is it possible some M38 stocks with half liner sling slots were made in late 1941? I think I have seen a few 1941 dated photos of Russian Soldiers handling M91/30 with stocks with half liner sling slots.
