does anyone out their know if the Thermold mags are any good i have a dealer that has about 20 for 20 bucks a piece and i can problem get them even cheaper but i have never used and want some info on them thanks Robert

Personally with the abundance of inexpensive < $30 old GI and new CMI made steel mags why buy Thermolds for $20...

I had Thermolds for my AR and only one out of the three I had would feed with any reliability.
I wouldn't trust my life with one.

M14 Thermolds usually need tweaking before they will work well. IIRC I had to take a Dremel and grind a small amount off the bottom inside edge of the right side feed lip on all of them. After that, they worked fine.

I bought several of the Thermolds back during the first AW ban cuz' that's all I could find at any reasonable price at that time. Right now, however.... given that good steel mags are available for $30... I'd not buy the plastics.
