I was at an auction the other day and picked this up. I thought it was kinda Unterl-ish, and figured it was worth something. Some guy bid me up past the $50 I was originally willing to spend, but I decided to go up to seventy bucks.

When I got home, I was surprised to find they're apparently worth more than that, but I'm curious what the realistic range is, and what sort of rifles accept this type of scope?

Lyman 438 Field Telescopic Sight

It first appeared in Lyman's Catalog No 18 issued in 1930, the 438 scope was a redesign of a scope purchased from Stevens Tool and Arms co. Lyman discontinued the 438 scope by 1947
