No way the marks are British silver. They will be the manufacturers.
If it was British silver, the date mark would provide the answer.
German silver has the purity (parts/1000) marked.
Have to try to find the marks of white metal makers of the period.

Just curious who is selling one. A friend of mine has owned this one for about 30 years. I have seen two more just like it.
Your friend is selling this thru the dealer and it has the the same hallmarks and Luftwaffe engraving? I was highly skeptical of this item since it looks well used with dings and coffee stains all over but the area where it is etched is higly polished and there are no coffee stains on the etched parts. That and coming from a dealer with a previously suspect plate I thought the worst.

I though this piece was a one off but If you have seen 3 other pieces like it and this is your friends who can vouch for it what do I know. Why are you even asking if you think it is legit? Go for it.
