does anyone know where I can find the targets for zeroing as described in "The Official Soviet Mosin Nagant Rifle Manual" by Maj. James F. Gebhardt..

" a white shield no less than 1 meter in height and 0.5 meteres in width with a black rectangle of 30 centimeters height and 20 centimeters width will serve as a target"

pg. 50 paragraph 101

I've seen a shooter on You tube firing at one of the same style with his Mosin, but can't remember what video..I thought maybe they can be found at a target/gun dealer somewhere

Thanks

I make them from white cardboard, a ruler and a magic marker.

Comrade, Just raid the school supplies isle of the supermarket and get scissors and some black construction paper and some butcher paper... Staples, etc.

If you've got kids they can help cut and paste! Good shootin' to ya.

Before I retired, I used to be able to make about any target I wanted on our blueprint copy machine after hours, as long as I wasn't making a whole lot of them. All I needed was an original. They worked well enough.
