Hello I have a mauser pocket pistal my Great Uncle brought back from the western front and inside the holster there is what I assume is Japanese writing i am not sure if it is all there i am assuming it was the name of the soldier that carried it i took a few pictures the writing is not very clear so I am not too hopeful.

That is the logo of the Manchukuo National Railway 滿洲國有鐵道.

The logo also shows up on swords as well.

Thank you for sharing your photographs. I enjoyed looking at them.
