trying to decide if this is an refurbed SVT40 bayonet or if im way off base? no marks other than the
serial numbers on the sheath and bayonet. Former owner said came with a finn mosin he aquired
a while back and still in cosmo inside the sheath. Any ideas I couldn't pass it up price was right real or fake.

Call it "Trade Fodder" or "Investment Portfolio". They only go up in value. I try to think of mine as "Waiting for a rifle".

look on my site under russia I have examples of th e38 and 40's so you'll know what you are looking for. doing some cleaning up and found there are over 20,000 pictures on there and most common items are covered.

excellent site thank you for the link.... btw seller backed out sent me a refund, he got a couple other
emails that said it was mis-represented as a Finn Mosin bayonet.... guess I will never see it in hand.
