I bought this nearly matching and mummed rifle some years ago. It is all matching except for the striker and safety knob which, oddly enough are matching to one another. Can only guess that perhaps the rifle was safed by some GI trying to get it home and ended up swapping just the striker and safety out. Safety is late type also with crude weld blob on end. I need early knurled type

Any one out there have a T99 Series one safety and striker numbered 194 (last 3 of serial)?

Hey...miracles do happen.

Can probably dig out an early striker and knob, series??? Both would be $40. [email protected]

T99 Striker

Can probably dig out an early striker and knob, series??? Both would be $40. [email protected]
Hoping to get Series 1 (Kokura) Striker and Safety stamped with my bolt number 194. I had already purchased a correct Safety but it is misnumbered as the striker that came with this gun.

If your rifle is a "1st series" you need Nagoya proofed parts and 194 marked. Your looking for Kokura parts and they never made a 1st series. FYI any early Nagoya proofed bolt #194 will be correct (0-4th series) with a chrome bolt face.

My Mistake

I meant Nagoya. I have a Series 1 Nagoya with all intact early features. It has a mismatched Dustcover (numbered 144) and mismatched striker and safety. The safety and striker that came with the rifle was a late style (weld blob) numbered 880. I replaced the safety knob with a correct early style but it is mis numbered (257).

It would be great to bring this rifle at least closer to correct.

Let me know.
