Just in, and well pleased. Not FTR'd, but not "as factory" either!. From near as I can figure, from my limited research, this rifle is in the first 2,000 produced at Long Branch. Should I try to put it back right, leave it be, or what? It has a mix of some Savage parts, the bolt is not origional and has been milled and restamped with the rifle serial #, (is a Savage bolt). Mag does not match, is a restamped Savage, with LB restamp. Rifle is a worn blue.

That is a nice rifle to have. LB and Savage mixed parts not unusual - when Savage stopped production, much of its spares went to LB. The rifle is desirable just as it is. I'd give that rifle a home right now! For me, restamped to match is as good as "matching" - some armorer almost certainly did the work. IIRC, LB sometimes did not stamp "FTR" on reworked rifles...
