Picked these rifles up this weekend at a local sport and hunting auction.Lots of consignments and a few sleepers.Mix and match but there are a couple lookers(to me).Dont know much about them but just buy what I like.Will keep a couple and be moving the rest.One has a decent L marked stock.Anothe H marked and a couple with slings.All in all a good way to spend a sunday other than enjoying the sub zero -12 weather

There are a couple of dot 44s and a byf 44.The byf is or was buffed and re-blued.Cant find any importers markings at all on them.Some have serial numbers on the flats of the cupped butt plates and one is code marked.

The last close-up pic of the proofs on the hardwood stock are interesting. Shows that stock is likely not originally from a Sauer but from an earlier Mauser Oberndorf. (if the S/147 1937 pictured before it is the rifle that's in that stock.)
The sling bar on one of the other stocks is interesting too. I've only seen that on Polish or post-war French stocks.

The 2 pale stocks show the Norway stock support just above the trigger guard,the darker one has the French sling bar.
The Blue also looks a bit too good.If the metal parts match and the price was good you did ok.
