I picked up the pistol this afternoon and would like to verify with those of you what year I actually have so going forward I know what parts to get.
My wife has our camera at her quilting meeting, so I'm hoping to put photos up tomorrow.

It has the long thin ejector.
Left side trigger guard stamped Vl
Right side trigger guard serial # 720***
Below the serial # the letter F stamped
Eight round magazine stamped made in Spain.
Took off the grip panels found no markings underneath on the frame.
Gabilondo y CIA Vitoria (Espana) stamped on the side.

Is it a 1977 issue?
Thank you.

Jake, the description, V1 date code and serial# all point to 1977 being the year it was made.
I hope you enjoy your new baby!
They are great, little guns.

My dad pulled a couple forgotten surprises out of his closet.
1) Llama .22 Gabilondo y cia vitoria, serial 4133xx I did not make any note of proof markings. approx age and needs a recoil spring plug. Help with plug?

2) Llama 9mm 38 super, serial 883xx. I did not make any note of proof markings. approx age?

You can use the sticky on the first page for serial# years.
The .22 looks like a 1985 model
the 9mm looks like a 1944 model but I don't know if it is a 9mm Largo or 9mm/38 Super back then. I think it would be a Largo unless it is specifically stamped 38 Super.
