Well yesterday I was finally able to take the last Ljungman I purchased out to see how it would do.

Unfortuntally it failed with the first test shot. What happened is that the recoils spring rod and attach point seperated from the receiver cover. Good thing I covered it up with a sandbag before firing.

After getting back home I looked it over and found that the roll pin that held it all together was to short and it looks like the attach point welds/solder had seperated.

I've found a roll pin that is longer and replaced it and will try to silver solder the attach point back unto the receiver cover, but I'm not sure I want to depend on that repair for the long haul.

Does anyone have a good receiver cover assembly that they would sell for less than an arm and a leg?

If so please let me know. Pictures would be appreciated.

I picked up the major parts I needed for the Ljungman, but Springfield Sporters was out of cleaning rods. Anyone got a cleaning rod they would be willing to part with for the Ljungman? Could I use a M38 or M96 rod by shortening it?

Thanks

Ljungman cleaning rods

Thanks swede,
I actually went with Samco for the M38 cleaning rods, I've dealt with them before and know of the Quirks and high shipping, but they had them for about half what Liberty sells them for. I will keep Liberty in mind when I'm searching for more parts in the future.
