These are two of my 22 trainers. The 1917 converted in the 30's and kept in it's original maple stock. The front handgaurd is a replacement at some time. The 1918 is a 50's conversion and stocked in coachwood. Both rifles are matching with very good bores. Note the red paint on the front sight. Is that something that might have been done in the military or not?
I put one shot through a lemon at 25 paces with the 1918 today, so I'm pretty happy.
