Hi guys,
I just acquired this late war Radom rig with the "capture" paper. It's an "H" block all matching with the funky wood grips. It came with two waffenamted mags and a holster. The paper is made out to James H. Cook and is signed by 1st Lieut. James E. Dunn of the 504th Prcht Inf. A quick google search of the 504th yielded no info on Cook but I managed to find a picture of and info about Lt. Dunn.Turns out he began his service with the 504th with A Company, then served with C Company in Italy in 1943 and 1944 and was again in A Company in 1945.Looks like the paper was originally made out for some type of Belgian rod but was changed and the changes initialed by Dunn. Here are some pics.

Best regards,
Len

The dates on the certificate mesh. This is good as I have seen a few lately where some of the handwtirren dates on the form are before the form approval date.
