As is often the case, while searching for something else entirely I found another interesting site, in this case a web-site for Hungarian weapon and ammunition markings, apparently all or mainly WW1.

Happy to share this with you all, if it is of any use. Of course, I have NO idea as to the accuracy of the listing - but I guess that any inaccuracies will be picked up by those who know more on the subject!

I already have the home page for this site bookmarked & have had for a long time. It is an excellent educational site for more than just the Austrian Mannlicher firearms. Go to his home page & look at the tab that has his sources & a bibliography. I've added several books to my library that I found on his list. It's my first "go-to" when I have a question about Austro-Hungarian arms.
