Saw three K-Rads on a recent trip to Normandy, one in a private museum, and they showed a picture of it being excavated from under one meter of earth. A heck of a vehicle.

Been (may still be) producing Kettenrads in Scandinavia (Sweden, maybe Finland) until recent years. And may still be, as i noted. I hear they are popular for forestry work, mainly. Same sort of thing we usually used wheeled ATVs fro here. Though I would thing a Kettenrad would likely be a bit heavier duty than most of the four-wheelers we see running around the woods.
