I recently bought a 1898 Krag which is in very good shape. The only issue I have is that it will not feed the last round. The first 4 rounds it feeds perfectly but the last one the bolt will not pick it up.

Any help would be appreciated.

weak spring or try removing some wood beneath the hook on the follower arm where the spring rests.

Also, and check clearance of the follower across the magazine, sometimes they get held up on top. And people sometimes put 92 or 96 followers into 98s and they don't work right. There's a difference.
