Picked-up a web sling for the M1 Garand at a local show for $2.00. It has Korean writing & looks like the one pictured below. It also has the Korean Defense logo stamped next to the writing.

Were these made in Korea? Anyone know the history of these? Thanks.

Ive seen a few of these on the "Blue Sky" Ex-Korean Garand rifles which were imported a few years ago. I don't know if they were made in Korea or just stamped with the Korean text there.

Good price regardless. Now you need a Ex-Korean Garand to go with it!!

Dump, Yes ,JimmyC is correct. These slings were made in Korea as an exact duplicate of the the US M1 rifle sling. The Koreans used them on their M1's and later on Daewoo rifles. The only difference, besides the markings, is the slightly "more green" color of the webbing. Good price on your buy.Wish I could find some at that price! Best regards, gospodin
