I agree with 5, but you never know, somebody might count one of those 5 Martini-type actions.

This isn't one of those confiscation pics from the New Orleans PD is it? I counted a BUTTLOAD of nice collectable firearms that were left to rust and ruin in a press realese photo from that debacle....the MP40 is interesting, our local PD confiscated one from a WW2 vet that went haywire with it and they use it as an entry weapon, true story....

Not to start a US-AS argument, but what do Aussie anti-gunners define as the "US path"?

They mean a society where there is a greater disparity between the have and have-nots,and a very large under-class,which the USA is seen as having.Aussie PM John Howard has said himself that he does not want to see Australia take the US path regards gun 'culture' which he sees as evil.Of course he seems to hate all and any firearms ownership.I believe there should be some modest regulation of firearms, such as background checks and storing them safely, but the Aussies have gone way to far with their policies I think, they have banned many firearms they should not have. And our laws in NZ could be better to I feel, some of the regulations we have are silly and unnecessary and not really related to common sense either.

He was in the first lot over there and got in a lot of newspaper photos.

Here's another two.

Thanks!

I am proud. He died a couple of years back and it's great to have some great photos of him to show my kids. I've got heaps more too.

Mate, he may have have died but while ever you remember him and tell your kids about him then he is still with you. That's what I believe and tell my Daughters about their Nanny and Poppy. If you've a mind to I'd love to see more of your Dad.
Thanks for sharing.
Darren.
