Oldmankiller said he liked 'em, and i had these already uploaded to Photobucket.
...and since this is my first "new" post, it's clearly a "runup"... : O

Blue bolt and an Eagle proof mark on the floorplate?
Did that rifle see service after 1935?

Bolt...

It's a Nazi rework of an original rifle with a mismatched stock. (at least that's what i'm told, i'm no expert by any means...)
You actually have seen it before Chasdev, maybe 4-5 months ago.
There was a fairly long thread concerning it, i believe Hambone said that's what it was. (Nazi reworked with original parts).
I just thought it was a pretty cool rifle, and i was able to trade for it with a buddy.

Thanks gents!

I didn't know that was a Polish H/G...Thanks! It's a Very interesting old Mauser.
She's probably been around the "block" more than once, what a story she could tell.

Nice rifle, thanks for posting it. I don't know what it is about the Kar98a's I like so much. Maybe it's just that was the first military rifle I started my collection with. Sort of like your first car.
