The sling is not original to the gun. That sling is for a 98k, not a Kar 98. The Kar sling looks completely different. Figure the bayonet is worth $125, if the sling is an original 98k sling, it's worth $75-$100. If you look at it that way, you only paid $300 for it! Sounds like a bargain to me.
