I removed the photos because of the commentary from the peanut gallery. I posted the photos for enjoyment of my fellow members, but I did not post them to listen to critical commentary, especially from people who are talking out of their arse.

Speaking as a non-reenactor but as a founder of the local chapter of the Weight Watchers Repeat Offenders Program, I would not be put out by the pictures at all. In fact, I have a theory that those of us who collect arms and militaria owe a great debt to overweight infantrymen all over the world. My theory is that there is a much higher survival rate of arms and militaria carried by chunky troops who can't keep up with the charge than with the svelt muscular guys who lead the attack.

Not bad! Here's MY favorite lean mean frighting machine. Not many of us would go into battle wearing an egg beater cod piece for body armor. And a personal bathing apparatus! :thumbsup:
