I am trying to install a scout mount. I punched out the pin of the rear sight but the darn thing wont budge....what next to remove the rear sight?

Lift up the sight to about a 45-degree angle. Push down on the sight and a little and toward the back of the rifle. If it doesn't push out, use a brass punch to pop it out with a light hammer blow.
