K98 Bolt Numbers

I found a K98, that has the number stamped on the bolt handle and not on top of the bolt. Is this correct or forced matched?

The gun is a Sauer And Sohn 42, no other markings. Not Russian and no import marks. The bolt matches receiver. I thought it was most likely a force match by a rebuild. It doesn't look to be done by bubba.
