It's a NEW "English Contract" stock cartouche, which is good because that would make it the original stock.

I don't know why I'm so lazy.....I could have looked it up....I guess I'm getting old. Not sure what a NEW English Contract mark is but it sure is cool. Thanks for the leg work.

It wasn't expensive or cheap....a fair price as I purchased from a Husker and fellow member....$220 delivered and worth every penny to me.

Where might I find a cleaning rod for the old girl? I would guess it takes a very special expensive one! Regards, Rick.

If it retained its stock I am wondering what else it retained. Any matching numbers? And has it been SA stamped?
From the sling hangers and "D" marked chamber, pretty certain it is Finned.
