Does anyone have in their collection of those white undershirts with the wide open collar? I know that the collars were made in a permanently open fashion, but I can't figure out the anatomy of the construction.

Also, I have seen pictures of officers wearing what appear to be Enlisted uniforms with the white shirt, and the officer's cloth belt. What the use of that cloth waist belt ( I'm talking about the thin one with the single prong buckle NOT the sword belt) a universal officer characteristic, or not a hard and fast rule.

I'm kicking myself because I was underbidder about six months ago on two shirts off eBay. One was the open neck white "Disco" variation. I needed it for my three button open neck army officer's tropical jacket.
