I found this document, entitled JAPANESE LANGUAGE FOR FRONT LINE TROOPS, in a grouping from a WWII Pacific War vet. Unlike the many training manuals on enemy troops, their equipment and tactics, that were professionally printed and bound in rear area shops and factories, I have to assume that this simple typed, front and back, English to Japanese translation guide was prepared and mimeographed (or otherwise copied) in theatre just prior to engaging the enemy.

Unfortunately it was printed on a poor grade of paper and is in rather poor condition from being folded and buried in a stack of miscellaneous books and documents for the last 75 years.

Any information would be appreciated.

Thanks.
