Here are three of the many cool items I got this weekend at the show. His father was an officer on a U.S. landing craft in the Pacific, and took them from captured soldiers. Two canteens and a hand made knife ( made from a real shortened blade ).

I have a field made Tanto, with a very similar scabbard. My blade is made from a small Japanese file, that has a kanji mark, on the "ricasso". And, you get Tetanus from bacteria, not rust.

Hi Rick, I have an early flask that has the same manufacturing stamp on the bottom (Osak? Aluminum). Do you have any idea why these are written in english instead of Japanese? Thanks, David
