This may be a sinful post on here but I want you Swede Rifle guys to know that I still am true to the Scandahovian shooters. I watched a vidio a while back that one of you Gents posted. It was a Norsk Shooten contest. I couldn't understand a word that was said but enjoyed watching the competition. The problem was that I was bitten by the Krag bug watchen them shoot. I figured to have a Scandahovian collection one must have an example of both sides of the border there. Being unable to find a Norsk Krag I have aquired 2 US versions and I'm in the process of restoring the Bubba jobs to close to origial. Now I knowthat they aren't the 6.5mm cartridge, which I have really come to addore, but the design is there. That's my focal point. So although I have veared some from the Swedes, My intentions are pure to the time period and Scandahovian design. I'll bet my excuse ain't worth a hill of beans, aye?:sorry:

Forgive me Fellas for I have sinned. What penants must I do to achieve welcoming back into the flock? How bout I search for a 94 Carbine? And mention no more the unmentionables that I strayedaway to. I admitt I was wrong in my thoughts that I was ok staying with a Scandahovian design and that the design, the caliber, the craftsmanship, the accuracy, the history and pleasure of owning a Swede, is far beyond any other. There,,, have I done you right??

I understand, I suffer from S&S ( Swede & Swiss ) addiction, having numerous examles of both Swedish and Swiss firearms . I must say the Swedes fare better though, having military models as well as one fine sporter rifle, and several sidelock shotguns. My big Swiss variation is a 1869 Vetterli converted to centerfire.
