WELL SHUCKS, a tough decision. I think it is a bit on the high side because not-all-that-long-ago I bought a NIB PP22 Manurhin/Walther for a flat $400.00 American. Of course when you get to be my age five years seems like two weeks. Now that I think about it my wife has put 10M rounds though that PP22 and I am sure that took a couple of years or so. Then she decided to try a NIB S&W M63-4 5" 8-SHOT HB and hasn't shot the PP22 since.
And I surely do love my ASTRA CONSTABLE II 380ACP pistol which thinks it is a Camp Perry bound target pistol.

Offer $300 and see if he takes it or at least meets you in the middle.
You were right on. I did offer $300 and he took it. It is NIB, still in the Astra logo plastic bag, and had the black on yellow paper, Interarms Warranty, along with the Astra booklet. Styro box with paper sleeve. Any idea of the DOM? He also has an Astra Constable Sport, like the one pictured except black grips and LNIB, which I am buying next month for $350. I've never seen one before. Can anybody tell me about the sport model?

Someone must have been sitting on a warehouse full of unsold Chrome Interarms Constables. I bought one two years ago through police officer/ffl neighbor. When he saw what I got for 300 he offered to take it off my hands for another fifty. No deal. It's a NIB 1985 model, just like yours but 380. Came in a plastic bag covered with Astra logo, paperwork etc.

It's a tank of a midsize pistol but the chrome/white plastic stocks must not have sold well. A bargain and a safe pistol to carry concealed despite its size/weight. Typical Astra high quality. I have not found extra magazines.

Took the Astra Sport and my Walther PP Sport to the range last Saturday. Both shoot excellent and are not particular to the brand of ammo as long as it's a 40 grain bullet.

Metrotps: The guy who sold you the Astra Sport was dishonest. The gun in the photograph was not the gun you got. How do I know that? The gun in the photograph, displayed on a background of red oak plywood, is MY gun; the photo was taken by me and posted long ago on the Walther Forums website. He stole my photograph. On the other hand if you bought one similar for $350, you stole HIS gun.

Whatta jerk. You made out just fine.
