looks WWII to me, all sewn features, blued buckles but not sure if it's for a carbine or 91/30. BTW I did look at Vic's Russian comblock sling article. Thanks.

Can you take a closer picture that focuses on the weave of the sling?

Without knowing the length it appears to be a wartime 44 or 91/30 sling.

Looks a lot like the M44 slings I got from Reich.

to me it looks like a mosin double dog collar type sling. not shure if its ww2, but i cant ell the difference. thats what i would bet. definately mosin negant. ive also seen ppsh slings used on mosin nagants, ive got one, and its for sale. regardless of what it is, it looks and will fit perfectly on any mosin negant style rifle.

Sounds like a 44 carbine sling. Nice.
