I just found this bayonet with leather scabbard at the flea market , the blade is marked HEMBRUG and also has crown over a Z proof mark on the other side.

the leather scabbard is missing the lower half, but the bayonet is in nice condition.

is $35 a good deal?

Bolo, This is ,as you suspected, a Dutch M1895 bayonet. "Hembrug" refers to the Royal Arsenal located in the city of that name. The bayonet pictured is either a later (post WW I period) or an early bayonet in which the curved stacking hook has been removed. This feature was abandoned by the Dutch following 1918. The scabbard ,what there is of it, is correct for this bayonet- though finding a replacement might be difficult. Well worth $35, IMO. Best regards.gospodin
