Another great video. Would be interested to if the Iraqi made 7.62x39 bdc turret they put on their “domestic” Al-Kadesiah scopes actually works. Those scopes are rarer than hens teeth unfortunately.
I would love to see that too, but no way to get one...I mean I don't know anyone with one to borrow...

I have never been a fan or been interested in that cartridge but watching it arc out there is interesting to say the least.

I never upload pictures so please forgive me if I’ve made a mess of this post.
The BDC in 7.62x39 was merely added to the Zrak M76B scope. I purchased the turret several years ago.

Here’s a nice example of the Iraqi original scope with 7.62x39 BDC.


I’ve handled a few of these scopes and my take on it is they had Zrak produce a run of them cammed in 54r for the Al Kadesiah and then in Iraq changed some to x39 for the Tabuk. I’m not aware that Iraq ever had an optical grinding or coating industry domestically but if someone knows that they could have made these optics in Iraq I’m interested in details.
